Could it be you have bad cam position pickup units? Have you tested those per the manual?

i had disconnected the cam pickup coil unit as my bike runs on two main pickup coils only .. Cam position pickup unit one is not working from last 2-3 years .. Engine been running on main pickup units without any trouble but few days back due to some short circuit cdi unit stopped functioning..now need to fit some other replacement cdi unit..

Excessive voltage from a bad r/r is often the cause of CDI failure, so check on that. Does it smell burned ?

Maybe a confusion in terms ?? That bike has only one cdi box, 2 or 3 pulse generators, and 4 ignition coils.

If one or two cylinders were not firing, naturally it would have little power.

The no-spark problem could be related to bad contacts in the RUN/OFF switch so the CDI gets no voltage or to a bad ground.

Replacement CDI won't work if it doesn't get +12 volts. TEST that yours is getting power first.

Checked each n every thing all fine only problem is CDI faulty.. No spark coming out .. Input 12 volts working but no output frm CDI unit. Rest of all bike is stock.. Need to know will Cdi Unit of 94 year VFR fit perfect or do i need to check for RC 24 only..

But you also said you cam position sensors are not working either, if those are not good any CDI you purchase is worthless.

Specifically RC 24 only. If bike has cam pulser you need '86 CDI.

Find one on US or UK Ebay.
