2014 VFRworld Calendar - Now accepting photo submissions

Your first photo posted to the right place ( twice actually) but this one did not. think you may have not sent the second quite right.

Some great photos up already!
I didn't get a chance to submit in the last calendar; I was in europe and couldn't access the server back home. Will see how I go this year
I put the VFR in our studio and took some photos so I could put one or two up on the wall. Hadn't thought about putting them in the calendar!
Here are three of the five I put up for contention!

 

Wow, that last one with the shot of the headlights is ominous looking. Almost like the bike I'd gonna jump out of the screen at ya. Very Nice.

 

Love these. Wished the first two were just a tad brighter though. A good caption for the middle one could be "Kiss Mine"

The second shot was used as my desktop and the top was used for Devil Exhaust Australias website. Both photos were used to accentuate the features, hence why they're dark

 

What's wrong with showing the bikes for what they were meant to be? Ridden, not garage queens all shiny and flawless.
But since I don't get to decide which ones should be chosen I'll just shut up.

 

Wasn't suggesting that photos should be static. Matter of fact, good quality riding pix I think are preferred. I just have a hard time taking a photo of me riding and have no one to take any of me riding my ride.

As far as a garage queen goes, mine may be clean and for the most part shiny, but it gets ridden like a two bit hooker from East Hastings in Vancouver and put away played out, worn and wet. I have over 100,000 miles on my 06. All of which I put on, or was riding next to it while a few other miles were ridden by someone else. Except for the very first 2 miles when I bought it. The salesman drove it home to my garage cause I did not have a license and had never ridden a bike before.

If you are going to submit a dirty bike for the calendar, make it fucking dirty.

 

For sure. I think one of these is a shoe in for the calendar this year, but like mofo says I don't pick the winners either. I just have an opinion on those posted.

I've re-uploaded the pictures to DropEvent with the correct caption details (left out my username!) so there will be duplicates in the Gallery. Having a quick browse, I've noticed there have been a few people who've had to do the same.

If possible, could you please remove the/my invalid duplicates?

 

Did My contribuition, too bad the pro photos from the event I went, aren´t ready to be delivered.... Oh well, the one I put, will have to do loll

We must be getting pretty close to a selection being made and the calendar available to order are we not? Some nice picture in there but there could be more. Come on folks, dig deep into your digital chest of photographs and send some in quick before it is too late.

 

I was just about to ask this myself.
I've got a client coming in today for a photoshoot with my VFR so I'm hoping I can include it in the list. Problem is I've already submitted 5 photos.
I prefer the previous upload arrangement; you could delete photos if you needed to (which would have to happen in this case) Not a gripe, just an observation. Either way, I'll post the photos up here later on this week.
