I have a Delkevic shorty tri-oval on my '99 5th gen. Very nicely made, good exhaust note with/without the restrictor. Good value for money. Search Youtube for videos of the various Delkevic exhausts on VFR's (there are videos of mine with/without the baffle on there - taken with my phone, so the sound quality isn't the as good as real life). However, they use the same link pipe for each pipe, so longer cans will stick further out the back than the shorter cans (ie: go for a shorty if you don't like the look of the exhaust sticking out further than the back of the bike).

Delkevic actually sound ok for a cheaper can. However if your serious, Staintune or go home.

I put the 8" cans on my 2002 several months ago. So far they are holding up well; I have the baffles in and it sounds great. If your on a budget go for it.

My current Delkevic sounds better than my previous bike's Staintune. Even with the baffle in, it has a deeper rumble. But then again, the tri-oval sounds better than the oval cans.

    Hey Kavo

I just recently purchased a 96 VFR750 for my wife and it has an 18" stainless Delkevic slip-on. My current bike is a 2000 VFR800 and it also has an 18" Delkevic can. I can say with tremendous honesty that the Delkevic can on both is identical, but the slip-on installed on my wife's 96 VFR sounds soooooooo much sweeter.

Very nice basey rumble that is not overly loud or obnoxious. Very nice low grumble at idle and vice nice tone when you blip the throttle. By far the sweetest sound though is under load when you accelerate. My previous bike (a 97 VFR) had an M4 slip-on pipe and it sounded great, but the Delkevic sounds a bit better. The pipe is of high quality, with very nice build quality. The welds on the end caps look very precise and the whole pipe is nicely finished.

For the dollar, I would give them 2 thumbs up. On quality of product, 2 thumbs up. Quality of sound for the cost of the pipe, PRICELESS.

Here is a side shot of the bike with the can installed. The can looks a bit longer in this picture as the PO didn't line it up really well when he installed the pipe so it actually sticks out toward the camera at the end making it look a bit longer than it actually is. Sorry but this is the only photo I have from this side of the bike on my iPad.

I can add a few pics from the side with the can re-positioned if you like? I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Delkevic. I'm really impressed with the cans on both bikes.

I considered the delkevic setup for my 07 VTEC, but in the end I went with the setup from MTC. They are also a UK company but they came with removable baffles for MOT time. I am really pleased with my setup, good quality, reasonable price and a lovely sound with or without baffles fitted (much better without !!)
