Plugged up carbon canister flumes line then when I open gas tank I hear a sound!

    With the lines going to the carbon canister-I plugged then up-when opening the gas tank I hear a hissing sound of gas flumes escaping-I think this could be dangerous-one spark and boom-a fire could happen-I think I will simply unplug those lines>:target:

    unplug the tank vent...the other one needs to build vaccum.
