I started off wanting to name her something sexy. The Baroness from GI Joe! But now I call her Snowball. Because the small projects have snowballed into bigger ones.

"Fucking Son of a Bitch!" sometimes. Ya. I call mine Chea Chea in memory of my grandfather, Grampa Chea. He was a crusty immigrant here from Scotland. Did everything himself, never complained and seldom asked for help. Kinda like what my bike has done in its 100,000 mile plus life since new in 06. The bike deserves to be recognized for its consistent performance, and forgiving of my abuse toward it.

I named my '09 'Natalia', I always liked the name and it seems to fit....

My '01 I call Osprey. After the bird of prey. A few reasons this came to be, first was I wanted to give the bike a birds name in honor of the dead bird I found stuck between the engine and radiator, the second was my cousin was following a pair of Ospreys on FB that were being monitored by a conservation group and the last one was for the US Marine Corps V-22 "Osprey".

My kids call my bike zoomzoom. Go figure. My wife's bike is named rocketgurl. My first bike (a. 1983 CB450 Nighthawk) was nicknamed CCBB (chitty chitty bang bang).

I called my bike "Harley Davidson" when the R/Rs crapped out. On other occasions like going too hot into a corner I have on occasion said things like "OH SHIT!" but then again that is not a name but more an emotional response.

I call her Beauty. 1) Because she was so pretty when I picked her up at the dealership. 2) Because my Norton is called The Beast, not because he is ugly mind you, but because he is a bit, shall we say, unrefined.

"Stupid Honda piece of shit" when the RR crapped out. Saved the old RR for about a year just to kick across the garage every now and then.

Its been called "slow assed old man's bike" by a younger cbr600 rider acquaintance. After he wrecked in a parking lot I insisted he add "unscratched up not wrecked or ridden by a dumbass" to his name for my bike.
