Been lurking here for a while and certainly got some useful info on the 5th Gen.

Owned a bunch of Honda V4's since the 80's. First one was the VF400. Must admit, my fav was the 3rd Gen VFR (Sorry don't want to start any wars on the first intro).

Anyway, here is my latest stable...

Oh please Honda, give us a new V4 platform...that won't be at Panigale R prices!

Hi and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome:

Its great see some pictures on your first post! I so nearly bought an RVF last year they are pretty rare. I am with you on V4 prices - great bikes but so expensive.
As I have been racking up the miles on my vtec I have begun looking at replacements, I am tempted by the Crosstourer but they are so expensive I may opt for the cross runner - or save a heap of cash and just buy another street triple.

    Take care

Welcome aboard, 2 great looking bikes there. Are the 400's popular in NZ? Loads of grey imports running around SA, not too many RFV's though.

    Hey,

There used to be a lot of grey imports of 400s in the 90s. Not so now, the fleet on the road is pretty old so it's really hard to get low milage examples. I think the 600 class is the flavour for most guys who get past their Learners License these days.
Yes, the RVF is quite rare here. I would say the UK, SA, Singapore and Aus had a fair few imported, but not too many in NZ.

I had an NC30 many years ago and consider it the better bike (just), and they are a lot more common, but as stated above, near impossible to find one in decent condition these days.

    Cheers!

Wow. Haven't heard from him for a long time.

Welcome to the site. We seem to have quite a few here from NZ. But there is always room for more. Next major trip for the wife and I will be out your way. NZ, AU and for some reason, I really want to go to Vietnam.

    Stick around.
