....for a bit with some riding buds, Before heading over the 4 mile long Astoria Bridge that crosses the Columbia River Damn those ZX10Rs are fast. Some fun road they call hwy 53 and hwy 47 All in all, one hell of a great time for putting on over 300 miles for the day. Yo, any one ever ride at 7200 rpms for over 50 miles non stop? Yea do the math in 6th gear. Yes, we where hauling ass, Damn ZX10R  yet never a whimper out of her, LOL in fact the pilot of that 10 came over and said, dude you where right there with me
Hey RVFR, looks like you guys had some fun! Those are great shots! I'm looking forward to exploring some of those roads soon. Just gotta get my passport in my pocket from the government and I'm away. Went chasing some other riders north of here this past Saturday and scared myself half to death! Guess I found my limit! We got on the only road to a place called Port Alice from Port McNeil, and I have never seen a more tortured piece of road that goes for 20 miles! Ups and downs and turns that go left before they're finished turning right.... Well, I ended up on the wrong side of the road more than once.... And then the ride home heading south at over 90 mph for 2 hours.. Yahoo! Couldn't sleep that night either...
Port Alice from out of Port McNeil you say, damn I need to look that one up, thanks. Yea make sure you PM me when you're close to coming down.
No, I've never ridden that fast for that long. I rarely go over 85 on my bike. Usually just passing cars quickly. Occassionally I get up over 100 for a couple seconds. I'm too afraid of road hazards at those speeds or going to jail. I just don't slow down much in corners. That's where I live. I'm afraid you're gonna leave me way behind when I come up to ride with you. Oh well, as long as you stop at the turn offs, I'll catch up!
