Sixth Gen with full/partial gutted exhaust in West-Central MN

I'm considering doing a partial gut (inner hole saw method) on my 6th Gen but I'd really like to hear one in person first.

I live in Fergus Falls but make it to Fargo/Moorhead, Detroit Lakes and Wadena somewhat regularly. For holidays and family visits I end up in New Prague occasionally as well.

Anybody that has a full/partial gut willing to meet me and show it off a little?

Bump, I'm going to be in New Prague this coming weekend. Anybody around the twin cities area willing to meet up and show off their exhaust?

I have a Leo Vince that you can hear if you like. My bike is about 10 mins from New Prague.

I might take you up on that. I'll talk to my wife and see if we'll have time. After chatting with her today I guess it's going to be a pretty full weekend already.

    Thanks.

I can tell you this. I had a fully gutted stock exhaust, now I have a GPR cans and there was not much difference in sound surprisingly.

Looks like I'm not going to have time this weekend to get out and look/listen to anything.

I appreciate the offers and will come back to the thread if I'm going to have more time another trip down.

If anyone back in my neck of the woods has something interesting please do let me know.

There's just so much variation in the sound on videos that it's hard to get a good feel for things. Also, overall loudness/volume is too hard to gauge at least for me so I think I'll wait until I can her something in person.

I've been all over youtube as well as through threads here and VFRD. A lot of people have put up really good descriptions of how they sound too. It's just one of those things I feel like I need to put my own hands/eyes/ears on it before I take the leap. Since I'm modding my stock exhaust there won't be any going back without buying a replacement stock muffler set.

Just got the exhaust, one tube at a time. That way you can stop before it gets too loud. I personally think gutted is the best sounding.
