New member to the family

Just got a 07 vfr 25 th anniversary. So far I love it. Has the factory side hard bags and a Corbin seat and heli bars. With lots of little extras here and there. 5500$

HE did post pix. But they were taken at night without a flash using a Kodak 110 Instamatic. Sheesh you guys. Welcome to the site. When the RWB first came out, I was not really struck on it. But they did grow on me a lot in short order. Basically you have yourself a brad new bike there. I would be concerned about the tires though. If they have not been changed, you are running on rubber that is at least6 years old. Tread may be fine, but the rubber could be dried out some. These are nice machines, but the tires that came with them new were crap. Be careful.

So i went to two bike shops on Saturday one in Ky and one in Ohio. First to the motorcycle superstore for a new Sargent seat and new levers. then to Ohio for my new two brothers exhaust that they just happened to have in stock with a power commander. score of the year only spent 1100$. got home and put bike on a big diet. really need it. Could not believe how heavy the factory exhaust is.

First off ..Congrats on the steal of the year...what a great price. Second your going to love the pipes and what the PCV does.....I freeked when I held the stocker and then my Leos...holy shit...for that price..has it been dropped???

No it has never been dropped that i can tell. I had all the plastics off and it was really clean. i could also tell they had never been off, the little clips are a pain in the ace. does anybody know if the two brothers will get a little louder over time. and do you guys remove the gold insert on the pipe.

 

When I installed my Leos...removed the inserts ...after about three months I could tell it was getting louder even with ear plugs.....just put them back in and it sounds so much better..MO..... and runs better to

I am also new to the VFR world. I Wish i could get exhaust for mine already, too damn quiet stock for my liking.
