looks like that dual coumpound thing is a good idea...nice to get your moneys worth out of a tire instead of throwing it away after a few thousand miles with a lot of perfectly good tread on the edges...this PR3 has 10,185 miles on it and is getting replaced tonight..

I love my Micheline PR's. I won't run anything else.

Yep, Just replaced my PR2s with 10k+ on them. I did notice a little squaring on the rear (due to slab riding I'm sure) and the front was starting to cup a little, but overall a great tire. I'm trying a new combo this time though, a PP3 on the front and a PR2 on the rear. I got to test this combo out this weekend and found that the front tire gave me a lot more confidence than I had with the PR2 front. The new PP3 is also dual compound but I'll have to wait and see how long this one last compared to the PR2.

    Cheers

I didn't let the PR3's come this far. Once the rear started squaring, I replaced both. I was getting a bit of trouble in the wet anyway from the cupping of the front alone.
    7k miles on the set.

I'd show you some nice vids I made recently but as long as that troll roams this board, that's not gonna happen.
