Congratulations. Ditto the suspension upgrade, do both ends at the same time. I'd rather spend my money on that than faff about with power commanders.

I had my suspension done by a local specialist in AU called Promecha but there are lots of people in the USA who can do similar work - e.g. Jamie Daugherty at Daugherty Motorsports. Jamie is an active member of this forum and comes through with very useful and valued contributions here.

Promecha did a spring replacement and revalve of my front forks, and revalve / regas of the rear shock whilst retaining the stock spring - they said the spring was fine for my weight. I'm happy with this because if I wanted more sport performance I would've just bought a GSXR750 instead. Jamie does a really cool CBR600F4 shock upgrade for your 6th gen which offers more adjustment options for much less than a new Ohlins (which might be over 1/4 of the bike's purchase price!).

Other forum members might disagree, but I don't see the point of Power Commanders & remapping tools for the VFR800 and many other Hondas - the stock fuelling seems fine to me on the street and there isn't a huge amount to be gained from butchering the intake and exhaust, unlike a lot of Italian bikes starting with D or M which can be rubbish to ride off the showroom floor. Staintunes don't require remapping and are designed to run well with the standard ECU.

By the way I just noticed your Pontiac GTO in the photo - I thought it looked familiar to my Australian eyes! Nice to see an Australian motoring icon making it Stateside (Holden Monaro) :)

The pip is hot but will not do any harm to the tail fairing. Just so you know there are heat shield under the tail fairing :thumb:
Enjoy your new ride and be safe
