Just bought the bike this last Thursday, 9/5/13 for the record. Red, 2002 Honda VFR800.

Was looking at Some '06 Suzuki Katana 750's for around $2,400 when I saw this bike. Fell in love with it at first site. The seller was asking $3,000, but I got it for $2,800.

Has just a small bit of road rash on the left side from a layover. Very minimal damage to just the one fairing pice. May look for a used fairing to make it mint.

I was happy to get a bike with a lot more technological advancement than the Katana. I'm happy with my purchase.

I am a DIYer, so you'll see on here a lot while learning about the bike.

    Thanks for an informative site.

Very nice looking bike and Welcome to the WORLD. Congrats on the new purchase and we hope, or should we say, WE KNOW you will enjoy the bike. LOL

If you are looking for a new fairing piece for the bike try looking at places such as Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories by BikeBandit.com or maybe Honda Motorcycle,Honda ATV Parts Up To 40% Off, Accessories

Both places offer OEM quality Honda parts and they come pre-painted and with decals already installed (if there are any on the piece you require) and the parts are far cheaper than buying from the manufacturer. I have purchased parts from Honda Parts Nation myself for my current bike and my last bike as well and they were great to deal with.
