    I am 47 in Feb.
    Last bike was a 1990 VFR 750.
Picked up the 2010 a few summers back. Have logged almost 18,000 kms on the 10.
Ive officially lost my mind. Its all I think about. I just enrolled in my first track day course.
I have been adopted by a group of 50 -60 yr old guys that do spring and fall trips to Wellsoboro PA.
I did two Lee Parks course last summer.
Married for 20 years. She was part of the riding back in 1990...this time around ...one helmet and slowly getting some of "me" back.
    Old...nah.

57 and still riding. Second VFR, first was an 86. Second bike in the barn. Other is a K1200LT at almost twice the weight. The 07 VFR feels as light and nimble as I remember the first one only much faster. Tons of fun she is!

I just bought a 06 vfr, I haven't been riding in years, my old ride the Yamaha r6 2006-I put 30,000 miles on the little bike longest trip 550miles to trade it in on a car-srt-4-not such a good trade but the bike was getting old -needed too much thing to go wrong. I just happen to have enogh dough to buy a good bike-even though winter is coming. I think if I didn't get a motorcycle -I would never ride agin-so I just jump in and said-just buy one before its too late-this summer was no fun with out a motorcycle,my 06 vfr is shipping in four days for a two week ride on a truck-to maine. I will put some temp plates on it ride it a little and work on it all winter. I am al most 59.

48 years old with a bright yellow VFR, and 1 out of four days I park near the college campus, there's some college guy who wants to ask me about it - It looks and sounds so different than all the other machines parked around there.

59 yrs old, 01 VFR, 94 Duc 900SS, 74 Dunstall Norton, 81 Yamaha XS650 tracker. I ride bicycles too, I cover about 4000mi and climb about 300k ft per year. I guess I like two wheeled vehicles especially the VFR.

48 right now, will be 49 in a few months. been off a bike for 24 years and finally decided to get another one. Now the funny thing is when I was 19 and got my first bike my mom gave me hell for getting one. 24 years later mom now 73 gave me hell for getting a bike again then as I've rebuilt it she has come around and said I could get a few more to rebuild.

Ah Mom's and motorcycles! I am 54 and I got my first bike when I was 16. My mom gave me hell as well. My mom is now 84 and still thinks it is a "stage" I am going through that I will out grow. We don't talk about riding motorcycle unless I show up at the assisted living place in my riding gear. Then she worries about me until I get home and call her.

Thanks. It is a one off decal kit that glows in the dark. IMGP1086.jpg Even when the light hits it the right way in daylight it reflects back some. Hurricane Ridge Wa..jpg Either you like or you hate. Truth is, if anyone hates it, they have never said. I wouldn't have cared if they did either.

Very nice bike and the graphics really suit it but I would be worried about the odd looking old bloke standing near it, might be trying to steal it or something.

Ok Fellas I need some advice here...I am 53 and I cant ride for more than 30 minutes or so especially in town where there is no wind supporting the torso. Anyways my forefinger and thumb start tingling and is very uncomfortable. I have Heli Bars, stock seat, pegs and a Double Bubble wind screen...which made it worse actually. So how do what am I doing wrong?? Any advice would be much obliged. :smile-new:

I think the VFR is a endurance sport bike, it can of course be made into a touring bike. It has small tires a huge tank and makes cool sounds and is fun to ride. it does take a lot of skill to ride one-notice all the people who have dropped it. it is a one of a kind ride-I can't think of any quite like a vfr! Its a great bike for a long distance rider-it fits with old riders and young riders.:bluesbros::plane:
