What the heck is this for?

    Hi folks, long time lurker here. My 2003 red VFR and I took a bit of tumble the other day. I took off
    the upper cowl since it's cracked and needs to be replaced. I've accounted for all the ends of the
    wiring harness except for this little connector below the fusebox.

    Can someone identify where the lower connector in the attached pic is suppose to go? Did I pull
    it out of the fusebox or something?

    I believe that is the service connector for the PGMFI, when jumped you can determine a code number via FI light.....

    NCB is correct. It should remain unconnected until you want to diagnose the codes stored by the ECU.

    If you need any of the relays etc, just let me know as I have a box full and a spare harness in the garage that I can yank connectors off if necessary.
