Hey guys, I'm working on adjusting my valves...
When I took everything apart, I discovered two mysterious hoses! They seem to come from under the airbox, around the carbs. They're not connected to anything on the other end though; they were just routed down behind the rear cylinder bank, toward the ground.

    Here's a picture; sorry it's so huge:

Should these be connected to anything? I just want to make sure everything is as it should be as I put this thing back together!

My thought would be that maybe they went to The charcol canister that has been removed?

No, they do not go to a charcoal canister. They go from the carbs to the ground. I'm not just repeating what you said, that is really what they are supposed to do! They are simply carb float bowl vents and they look to be positioned exactly as they should be. Leave them alone and you'll be ok.

OK awesome, I was hoping the answer would be something like that!
So that's one less thing I need to figure out...
