Vfr 1996 750 still not working

I don't recall for sure if switch opens or closes the circuit (I'm pretty sure it closes it), but I think you can just unplug the switch connecter and install a jumper on the connectors.

 

its most likely the kick stand switch. a mechanism that opens down and then closes when kickstand comes up. just find it in .pdf manual, then take some wire and bypass it until the bike will run in gear with clutch in and kickstand down.

 

This guy hasn't been around since his last post. I think there was something about any bike accident, back then, where a guy lost it on a left turn, because he forgot to lift his kickstand.
