    Hello all...

Bought another 99 VFR with a bunch of "extras", including a rear Showa MCJ-003 shock with built in subtank.
Has anyone here heard of... know of... have used... this shock before? Because I cant find ANYTHING about this shock on line.
It has a Pinwall Cycle Parts tag on it that says "3095-02-028 2000 Honda CBR900RR/E CBR929RR". And Pinwall is unresponsive...

    HELP!

    Mahalo~

Common mod to put a 929 shock on a VFR. I have one on my 5th gen.

If you have any questions about the CBR929 shock conversion, another site member here, Jamie Daugherty, has a business that sells VFR rear suspension conversion kits for most years of VFR's and he does work on front suspension as well. I bought one of his 929 conversion shocks for my 2000 VFR and it made an incredible difference. Check out Jamie's website at Daugherty Motorsports - Motorcycle Suspension Performance and Modification

Copy that, thank you. Checked his site out already, it looks like Jamie just mills down the top part of the 929 shock and puts an extension on it, ingenious... what an awesome fix & mod.
