    Hi

Could someone please give me the diamentions of the collers that fit into the oil seals on a VFR 750 FG. Mine were swopped out by
someone who also stole the rubbers from my cush drive. It a long long story.

Here is a photo of the one I have which are the wrong size. DSCF1828.jpg Photo by waynec2 | Photobucket

A friend of mine has a lathe and will make up the correct spacers if I can get him the correct diamentions. The collers I have are too narrow
and dont even fit into the oil seals! The wheel also stiffens up when the axel nut is tightened.

    Thanks,
    Wayne

Just order them from a European dealer or breakers yard. The 2 outer spacers wouldn't be too hard to fab, but the special spacer between the drive hub and left side wheel bearing is too complex for home brewers, and missing that is what causes your wheel to bind and can ruin the rear wheel bearings if the axle is tightened without it !!!!

    Hi Squirrelman

The 86 VFR was never released here in South Africa which makes it a rare beast. Honda Cape Town refuse to help me due to this. They say my bike
a grey import and its my problem. The complex spacer is there and looks like the real thing. The collars are simple if they were the right size. They do not even fit into the oil seals and I think they too narrow as well.

    Thanks,
    Wayne

OK, you need dimensions from someone who has access to those spacers off a bike for measurements, and i no can do. Order them from David Silver Spares in jolly old.

    Hi
I can send you the sizes of them, then you can have some made.
It may be cheaper this way.
This is all subject to me finding them.
Because of the time taken to respond to my reply I didnt look for them straight away.
I will look through my pile of bits and get a price for postage.

    Sorry cant find them.
Got a friend who is doing the cbr600 wheel conversion, so I have asked him for the sizes of the original spacers.
When he gets back to me I will email you them.
