    Hello all,
I've put a deposit down on a 6th gen today, 2008 with 85,000km on the clock. Sounds like a lot to me, but if my VTR250 is anything to go by, the reliability is there to double that number.
I've been pretty infatuated with VFRs since a few weeks into riding, and now that I'm on my unrestricted licence, the time has come!
I tried to like some different bikes, truly; sat on, test rode both a Triumph Sprint ST (Quite the gentlemans bike. It's... nice.) and a Suzuki Bandit 1250s (It felt a lot like an upscaled version of my VTR250), but neither quite had the looks, slightly aggressive edges, character and SOUND that I'm drawn to in the VFR.
    I pick her up tomorrow!

I've got a lot to learn about my new companion. I can't wait.

Welcome aboard. Yeah, aside from some charging issues to keep an eye on VFR's are generally bulletproof. Enjoy the bike and post up some pictures as soon as you can.

Yup. Here I was be. Don't even bat an eye about 85K km on your 6th gen. Like Lang says, I now have something like 165,000 km on mine. First hint of real trouble was after Long knocked me over in Long Beach California and my stator burned up in Vegas shortly after. I had about 157000 km on it then. I made him pay by push starting me.....three or four times.....in Vegas's searing heat.

I see a nice set up for Calender shot. If that third photo was re-done, minus that rack and helmet, and a little tighter, that right there would be a contender. Maybe point the nose into the sun a bit more so some of the sun hits and highlights the crisp lines on the right side. That could be a cover shot.

Nice looking two wheeler you got there Measly. Requests for photos for the calender usually show up sometime around mid late November.
