Thanks SFPA, Well I figured someone would pick up on the name. You are correct in your thoughts. 1911's gotta love 'em. I'm in Middlesex. Yeah I've heard all the jokes! haha! If "urine" Fayette-Nam it is required hardware. (I would figure you to be one of those hard charging, storm trooper, airborne "HOO-AH" paratrooper types if you're living there also.) I was around Bragg for sometime in '02-'03 after the crap hit the fan. One day I found Manchester Rd. where the clay center is located and even now I sometimes still go there for clays. Is Spring Lake still a "hole"? haha You're right about this sight. Everyone here seems to be down to earth, informative, and there to answer questions or just chat. I actually just watched the site for a few days before I joined. It seemed like a more mature group willing to discuss issues not just some "kids" beachin', whinin', and moanin'. That is when I decided to join. BTW Did you check out our Mad Max chat? That is hilarious. When I do make it back down there I will definitely link up with you. However I'm looking hard at a VFR right now so I might meet you already owning one. I guess we'll be roadtripping! All the Way swoop
Hell's yeah... -RVFR- -COBRA919- -R.W.- ...a middle of the country road trip to go test out VFR's? When you guys think, you guys thing BIG! LOL. A friend of mine (Harley owner) is planning his annual trip to Sturgis right now and the idea seemed similar. How cool would it be to have a "Sturg-da" or "Hond-is" er...uh...or...something......:caked:...... -reg71- I do realize that everybody has different schedules, lives, and wives and/or children. So I see that it would be difficult. However with much coordination and sacrifice of ones time and if you were to plan far enough in advance it might just work............. .............BTW I can't make it because my wife said no............haha:caked: Also, thanks for the advice. You have sent me into an all new direction of thought in regards to the VFR. Also, you seem to be correct. In NC I've noticed that the bike groups that have VFR's in them, there is usually more than one. Strange coincidence? Or just a great bike? Perhaps they're breeding and multiplying! -SLOav8r- I saw my first 6G on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh. It had the hard bags, was as red as a firetruck, and sounded like A1H Skyraider w/ a radial eighteen had just blown by me on the apron. Love at first site. -mello dude- Thanks for the compliment. I love the old CB's. I grew up on an old 550 Four and I have always had a Honda one way shape or form around the stall. I love motorcycles so I keep getting them, but now I'm thinning the herd. Right now out of the fleet: The 350 will be on its way out to a friend. The '74 750 is being disassembled for a new project or possibly out of here. The '95 Daytona is also on it's way out. I will keep the '73 750 cafe racer, the '75 550K, and hopefully a VFR will be in the stall soon. I also have a guest bike (Suzuki 750) I'm keeping for a friend who is overseas. Yeah, I know, its like swoops Bike-O-Rama round this joint. Thank you guys!
