    I've notice what appears to be a couple of drummers on the forum & wondered just how many we have here? Post up a pic(s) of your kit!

    Mine is a 7-piece Drum Workshop kit (with spare 4" Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute snare) I bought off ebay about 6 years ago--Zildjian cymbals all around. My hi hat is a pair of 15" "Sweet Beats", and I'm using a DW9000 double bass pedal/hi hat:

    Love drums. All of them. Wished I could play. I tickle the keys myself but can't read music at all. Played a huge Hammond for a season for the Brandon Wheat Kings hockey team back when I was about 14 years old. Than was kinda neat.

    Taiko Drummers get my hair to stand on end. An example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7HL5wYqAbUThey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNmXNc95ncU They are just bad ass.

    Kinda like Native Indian drumming too.

    Singer here (classicaly trained - Italian Opera), but I fiddle with drums. Don't have a kit of my own to share, but props. to the keepers of the beat.

    I would like to buy a small electronic kit that I could fit in a corner of the place and practice without keeping up the family. Alesis DM10 with surge cymbals would be a dream to have.

    I was a drummer in band in Jr High and High School but never owned a set, just played the school's. I got to play pretty much everything else percussion wise too.
    The last time I played I filled in on trap set for a half time "pep band" performance at a high school basketball game when I came home from college and haven't touched a drum since.

    Better that than what Long is doing to that poor lizard.. ;

    I'd like to shred the full color ads with sound and all kinds of other shit that few if anyone is even interested in that is preloaded on every fucking post. The only one I have seen of late that has any value is the Pampers ad on the old guys riding VFRs thread.

    Bass player here. I got a cheap ass Rogers kit for $150, locally. Changed the heads and learned some basic 4/4 rock beats but that was it. I sold them on because I became just enough of a drummer to know how crappy they were. I'll get another kit at some point in the future but I want something that sounds better and is better made.
