According to dealer records both recalls did apply to my bike but have already been done. Great news IMO. Now I just gotta buy a used R/R and never worry about my bike again :)

    Best used bike ever.

I went from an SV650 to a VFR800 and have had a similar impression. Great bike, so stable and smooth - and it can really rack up the miles.

Glad you are enjoying it. Good Luck.

My only issue with the bike so far is the vibration on the grips, need to get some heavier end weights!

Update, engine is blown and was likely blown the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

What do you mean when you say the engine was likely blown coming off the showroom floor? What happened exactly?

    Check out my other thread:
    http://vfrworld.com/forums/mechanic...damaged-piston-rings-valve-seals-6th-gen.html

I have never heard of such a low mileage engine having such incredibly low compression before, hell I have never seen such low compression ever, and the only way for this to happen is manufacturer defect. Mistakes happen and I know VFRs are normally bulletproof so it is just unfortunate.
