Went for a summer ride through the Welsh Mountains, ended up in a small seaside town called Criccieth, took a few phots of the bike and scenery and a small little castle Hope you like
We've got quite a few on this side of the pond? Lots of history. nice excuse to go for a ride so I can photo castle & bike together, I'll post as soon as possible. Mark.
Im managed to photo two castles in one day, it wasnt very hard they were only about five miles apart. The first one is Gwrych Castle near Abergele you can just see it in the trees, I can't get any closer, but there is great mountain bike trails all round the castle with great views, The second Castle is Rhuddlan Castle, its a lot older, it was built in 1277 in stone but had a timder fort on the same spot way back in the 700s. Hope you liked the little history lesson? Mark.
Men I love those castles I really miss Europe  Is there a cheap cabin in Europe I can rent for my poor retirement fund? :noidea:
Found another Castle hiding in the back garden And the wife trying to hide behind the bike Very pleased to have the wife with me on the back of the bike, first time for about ten years.
Had a go ride down towards Harlech this weekend, I've bought a new scala rider intercom so first try, found it very good to communicate to pillion, By the way found another castle and some of the locals? [A
