So I'm looking at adding another steed to the stable, another V4 at that, which is the only kind of steed I want right now. I found a VF750C near me in a price range I can afford. and the owner clearly cares about this bike I went over to see it and now its not starting we are thinking the fuel pump because we do not smell any fuel. it turns over really well and doesn't smell like anything, even after attempting to get it to turn over for a while. So my question how many of you have ridden a VF750C and are they solid bikes (reviews point to yes) other then little (or big) issues that can arise from 30+ years of age. A little on the bike. It was just serviced and inspected, 2 weeks ago has 21K miles, has been getting some attention and some riding since the owner has had it. brakes and tires and everything look good. there is a little tear in the seat. the bike has been recently repainted and looks really good.

I have pictures but phone is dead will post them shortly.

Yes they are solid. I love my 82 V45 magna. I think 1983 fuel pumps from civics can be used in magnas. I added a corbin seat and I love it. I ride it more than my 86 VFR and about as much as my 2010 1200.

Try contacting rrwarren@peoplepc.com he is one of the moderators. He can at least point you in the right direction.

Correct. I rebuilt an '82 VF750C from the ground up and replaced the fuel pump in it with one from a Civic. :)

On another topic, what's with the necro-bump?? This thread died in 2013.
