    Hi Chaps

Well she all done bar a few personal niggles on the odd cable bracket or bolt but i must say she looks like a new one.
Passed Uk MOT on Friday and went for a blast to bed the old girl in after a 15 year lay up. Its been 30 year for me since i last rode a VF500 !!!!!

What a fantastic sweet handling little thing she is, had a great 80 mile ride and apart from no brakes, poor suspension and no ballistic acceleration (only kidding, thats what new bikes do to you) its was as if i had been transported back to 1985 when i was 22 and just picked it up brand new one.

Going to a few Vintage Jap shows so hope to get a worthy effort trophy and i will be happy.

Now on to my next Project a 1985 FZ750 FN.

Keep up the good work and thanks for all the tips and tricks. (especially getting the carbs on and off)

Your next mission is to change the wheels to 17 inchers. I have a similar bike to yours and I'm just about finished doing this. I doubt it will improve the handling dramatically but it will be nice to have a wider selection of rubber to choose from. Have Pilot Road 3s on order.
