Just wondering what you guys use for a rear wheel stand as I'm going to be changing the rear tire soon.

i use a Pit Bull stand made for the single-sided swing arms--it works great, one person with one hand can easily lift the rear wheel, it has wheels so you can move your bike while on the stand, and it has bearings in the axle so you can spin the wheel while on the stand to install or oil a chain. Lots of racer squids use them too.

A slightly modified VFR 750/800 BikeTek rear stand.

I machined an axle pin that's 1 3/4 inches longer than the stock pin that came with the stand to provide quite a bit more support for the rear wheel.

The stand is equipped with bearings in the axle so you can rotate the rear tire to perform maintenance and it's also equipped with an internal compression locking mechanism so that the bike cannot fall off the stand.

It's also modular as well, you can purchase replacement adapter pins to fit various other single sided swingarm model bikes.

You can find BikeTek rear stands at Flyncycle.
