power commander v maps where to find?

    i have a 2004 vfr800 with a 2006 motor in it. pair and flapper mod and gutted exhaust and k@n air filter and o2 delete. where do i find custom maps for this. i have the power commander five and am looking for a map

    I believe the VTEC engagement RPM is different on the two models 6800RPM vs. 6400RPM ('04/'06). As far as "custom" maps, on the "other" VFR site there are downloads to members uploaded maps, that may or may not suit your setup, the best way to get what you're after is have it dyno tuned my a mechanic (~$250-$300).     Gutted exhaust (o2 delete is required for the pc to work without the ecu fucking it up) and a k&n filter. The flapper and pair mods dont change your fueling and timing requirements enough to worry about. There are plenty of maps that would work for you. But as ootv said, if you want the best you can get. Get it tuned for your bike. No two engines are the same, no exhaust or intake filter is the same for that matter.

    You could always buy the autotune module and just let it do the work for you. I have one and it seems to do the trick pretty well.
