In other news I finally got that damn 929 shock in, it was a PITA, but feels amazing!

 

Shock for the VFR? You still got the VFR?

 

Of course! I did list it for sale, briefly, a couple months back. But decided to keep it vs selling it and the Super Duke for a SMT. VFR is a great bike, SD is a great bike, put a little maintenance in them and they will continue on.

Got a shock built by Jaime Daugherty and now the rear matches the heavier springs I put in the front a couple years ago.

 

Its is a good bike. Cool beans on the shock. Let me know about April, ride etc.

saw another 5thgen cruising around my neighborhood yesterday and this morning... I'm thinking someone moved into town or is bangin a local hottie down the street from me. I need to catch him while I'm on my VFR so he doesn't just look at me like I'm crazy when I try to flag him down....

 

New VFR owner in Prince William. Anyone in this area want to get out for a ride this weekend? (7/20 - 7/21)

 

Prince William down by 95? or up by 66? I'm up in Fairfax right off the tollroad, but this weekend is already F'd with work stuff.

 

I'm down by 95. I'm in Woodbridge / Dale City area.

 

I work in the 'Bridge and frequently ride aroudn Fredericksburg and Richmond. Unfortunately my weekends are usually spent doing other less exciting things than riding unless we're at the track but I'm down to ride weekdays if anyone else is available.

 

Looks like we have a sizable contingent here in the area!

I ride practically every weekend & every evening during the week that I get a chance, even if it's only 20-30 miles. Anytime you guys want to take a jaunt, hit me up.

 

I work in DC and ride when I can. Having access to the HOV lanes for the commute is NIIIIIICE! It's hot as balls today though so I'm going to be slightly miserable on the ride home today.

I have my kids every other weekend so I don't get to do much long distance riding on weekends. I'm free this weekend though if anyone wants to meet up. I typically ride in my area or West of me and around DC as well. Blasting the GW Parkway is a pretty awesome ride when there isn't a ton of people on the road. Otherwise I typically ride west of Woodbridge into the Bristow area. I like the 2 lane twisty back roads or riding out Route 50 as well.

I haven't done any riding in Fredericksburg or Richmond although it sounds like there are some nice back roads out that way as well.
