I have one that goes between the grip and controls and really enjoy using it, especially on those long highway days. Never used the bar end ones though.

I had the Kaoko throttle lock on my KTM and really liked it. Even after a spill ground one portion mostly flat, it still worked great. ...it is easier to set than a Throttlemeister (which I have on the buffer), but it is a little pricey for a plastic piece of kit.

...but it does work very well!

I ordered the lock on Wednesday afternoon paid the extra $10 for two day shipping from twistedthrotle.com, and it didn't arrive today. I have a 400mile ride tomorrow morning, kinda pissed. Hopefully an email with my concern will get me something.

Most two day shipping does not cover Saturday deliver, it's typically two business days. You may look at the fine print on their website, but I found out the hard way myself. When I ship stuff FedEx, there's a check box that has to be marked for Saturday delivery and it even says on the form "May not be available in some areas" or something to that affect. Often times I will call the store to confirm delivery before I pull the trigger, just to avoid situations like this.

One thing I do hate though, slightly off topic, is the term "available" on some products, this does NOT mean the store has it available, but that their supplier or manufacturer has it available! Sometimes this can add a week or two depending on the supplier.

Twisted Throttle lost me as a customer forever when I asked them to see if they could get the Pyramid plastics hugger for the VFR. It seemed like a reasonable request since they do sell Pyramid Plastics huggers...they just didn't have a listing for this one. They said they'd check and call me back. After a week, I called them again and was told they hadn't gotten around to it yet but they would. Repeat one week later...and another...and another. Finally they just said, "yeah, I don't think we can do that". I found another US vendor that was more than happy to order one for me. And that was the end of my relationship with TT. I don't care how cool your products are if your customer service sucks balls...unless you're a hooker. (figured I'd say it before BB did)
