Does anybody know the diameter of the CAT exhaust exit?

I need to order parts for some exhaust fabrication and I don't have the bike on hand to reference.

    Thanks,
    -Drew

If you need the answer right away, try sending a PM to member 'Thack'. He just built an exhaust from scratch so I'm sure he would have the answer handy. That being said, his bike is a '94 and there may be a difference between generations. I can get the measurement off of a set of cat-less headers from an '99 VFR800, although they are cat-less the exit pipe should be the same with or without the CAT but again there might be a difference amongst the generations. Your bikes is a 6th Gen correct?

Just measured the '99 headers and it's a 2" diameter (OD).

I used to have cats, and I'd guess their 'exit diameter' to be about 10-12mm. Depending on diet, it could have been forced to be larger.
