I'm not a fan of red rims. The matte black paint looks pretty sweet.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the color scheme, especially the way the upper part of the tank was painted. IMHO it just doesn't look right and I'm with Durk on the red rims.

Considering what I do for a living I see a lot of cars that come in with door dings and quite a few of the higher end cars have that matte finish. The most annoying thing about the matte finish is that if you scratch it, you're pretty much screwed. You can not polish out a scratch in a matte finish without making a shiny spot and whenever you get a door ding from another car, the dent can sometimes be repaired but the scuff mark, well, mmmmm, not so much. I for one enjoy the time spent being able to detail and wax my bike as I am one of the CRAZY INSANE people that finds it relaxing, so to not be able to wax my bike would literally drive me mental.

I can remember going on group rides before my wife and I got married and one of things I enjoyed when it came to unwinding after a ride was to wash everyone else's bike for them. Most of the time there was only 5 or 6 other guys (and their various wives and/or girlfriends) so it did not take long and while everyone else was sitting down with a beer, I would grab the garden hose and go crazy. We all sat around and talked about the ride while things were getting debugged and sprayed down and nobody went home with a dirty bike.

Feel free to insert the "Gee, my bike is next comments," here.

    Hold the phone.....

You aren't like my long lost brother from another mother are you Zoom-Zoom? Because I find detailing and waxing my bikes to be enjoyable and relaxing too.

Truth - and my car is so frickin' dirty - it almost never even gets a wash - and has never had a real wax.

OK, you two weirdos can add me to your club, except I won't use the hose. I use spray detail stuff and a micro fiber cloth and wipe into every nook and cranny.........no nook and cranny jokes please.

    Asphalt black and red vfr80

I actually looked at that bike today. It's still on craigslist in the treasure coast of Florida. What junk. Underneath is full of surface rust because he lives by the beach so all the wiring must have rust on them also. The valves are ticking because the oil must not have been changed in a while. The back tires are bald. The bike still has 8700 miles in 2014. He will now take 4500.00. It's not worth even that.

He is asking 5599 but will take 4500.00. It has so much rust underneath and then the rolex stickers on the side are there to cover up so type of old stickers. I forgot to mention he also told me it needs a new battery. I just bought a 2008 VFR with 350 miles from a dealer for 6399 here locally. It is the silver color and already has two brothers exhaust
