I just tumbled to the fact that my 6" rear wheel is suited to a 190 tire. Yes, I am slow that way.

    Any advantages to a 190 over a 180?

I guess the only "advantage" is that you'll probably never wear to the edge of your tire. One of our VFRW brothers had a 190 on the back of his VFR750 and he really didn't like the turn in with it. After he replaced it with a 180, much better cornering performance he said. YMMV (literally)

It is wider so you can lean and scrub your knee and elbow at the same time :pound:
I don't have personal experience but have read many threads and not many positive feed back. Sorry Alaska

May take a bit of getting used to, it's going to turn in slower. If you fit it, take it easy for a while until you know exactly how much difference it has made to the handling. The only stuff I have read is mostly negative so I'd stay with the 180
