Purchased my '99 VFR this March and finally got around to taking some photos of it. About 22K miles and bone stock with not a single scratch. So far I love the bike, but have my eye on a few upgrades. Already bought the BLS lowering blocks (at 6' 4" this was a life saver) and upgraded the R/R. I'm looking for a new seat, a throttlemeister, a different windscreen, a high mount exhaust (leaning towards a GPR system), and if I can find one an 8 spoke rear wheel.

    Very nice!

BTW, why would you want lowering blocks? Wouldn't it make more sense for you to raise it?

The BLS lowering blocks are for the foot pegs, not the suspension/whole bike.

Spot on OOTVS, with the stock footpeg location and the balls of my feet on the pegs my thighs were outside of the cutouts in the tank. Awkward and uncomfortable to say the least.

Nice looking bike and looks like you scored a good machine. Welcome to the WORLD and enjoy your new ride. We are all sure that you will come to love the VFR as much as we have, if I do say so Myself. LOL. If you do manage to find an 8 spoke rear wheel, I for one will be forever jealous.

Enjoy the bike and keep her shiny side up.
