    Honda VFR 800 C3

So I put some gripster tank grips on my 03 silver VFR tonight, not suppose to ride for 12 hrs but i'll probably ride whenever I get up tomorrow. They were what i wanted, not to thick, seem grippy, removable. These were $32+shipping, site list $52 + shipping but when added to cart they were on sale.

I'm new to having a VFR and to forums but have read quite a few threads. It seems everybody agrees that the silver VFR is the fastest, have a few questions though.

    1. with the gripsters on now i have less silver, will it be slower tomorrow?

    2. If so, will silver still be the fastest, just a little slower or will it be as slow as like...a red one?

Given that they are black, it shouldn't affect your performance too much. At least they blend with the bike. I would guess you may have lost 1-2hp on the top end because of this.

Dude...everyone knows red is the fastest color  that's why it's the most popular!

Seriously though let us know how these work! I am thinking about picking up the exact same set for my 02 to see if it helps with my riding discomfort. Also where did you order them from? I added them to my cart on the Techspec website but did not get the discount :(

I've got TechSpec on mine that I made from the general sheet and custom cut. They are freeekin awesome grips and I would not hesitate to but them again for any bike. I've had them on mine for at least a year now and I'm still extremely pleased with them.

they worked fine today, they stayed stuck fast. dont really even notice them under jeans, i was just riding around town a bit though, nothing crazy. I got them from that site, i don't know why they are cheaper, i didnt see discount until i was bout to hit submit and total was lower. Mine are the C3, they make a thicker set if you wanted more grippiness.
