    Gents,

I've just installed my new Heli bars on my 3rd gen. I'm having some issues with the throttle cable routing, however. I can't seem to find a path that doesn't bind in full lock left. Has anyone encountered (and, hopefully, solved) this one already? I'm going to sleep on it and see if it looks better tomorrow, but hopefully one of you guys knows what the fix is.

    Thanks!

    That's what i always say

about picking up chicks in a bar...

i would have thought full right lock would bind the throttle or choke cables, but can you tell which one is the problem?

The 3rd gen carbs run off of the front cylinder (#2) and uses a shorter throttle cable than the 4th gen running off of cylinder #1--so you might swap out to get some extra length if that is the one binds.

Well, I feel silly. That's what I get for working on it so late at night, I guess...

It was fixed simply by adjusting the positioning nuts on the throttle bellcrank on the carb unit. Good to know I wasn't going crazy.
