I received my shorty levers today, total install time of less than 10 minutes. They look great and are fully adjustable which is great for the clutch side. Here is a pic of the comparison vs. stock.

Where did you get them and do they make them for the 5th Gen?

Are these the ones from Hong Kong? I've seen ones like those on there but was weary.

The seller I got them from is located in the U.S. As far as where they were actually manufactured I am not sure. So far they work great but I will definitely put some miles on them and will be able to give a better review.

Did you put a dab of grease/anti-seize on the pivot points and the other points?

I got a set and I love 'em.

I bought a set of shorties off ebay for my 5th gen. Absolutely fantastic value. No regrets.

You have to be careful when you order as other model years of VFR shared levers with multiple bikes, but the 5th gen seems to be unique.

I don't remember who I bought from, but this vendor below does it the same way as when I bought.

Follow the seller's instructions and you will be very happy with the result.

I sure did, gotta say after riding for a few hours last night, I absolutely love these levers. Having the adjustable levers especially on the clutch side make a world of difference. The clutch engages way earlier (I know it is doing the same thing it was before just the lever is closer to the grip) making shifts and launches way better.
