Working on that right now. Been changing the look since I got her 2 weeks ago. She was a little ugly. Lol. You can tell previous owner only used it for touring. Had this gnarly huge bag on the back, it even had a back rest, a big ole wind screen extender, and multiple bulky, ugly things, not to mention the white reflective wheel tape that was put on horribly. So far got a black double bubble windshield, shorty adjustable levers (still need installed), rear cowl (needs install), and a few other small accent items to make her look better. This weekends plans consist of baffle gut, de-flap, snorkle, and Pair, install items, and de-2up her. Then I will shoot pics. Looking for previous pics of what she looked like.

Wasting your time. Fix the ergonomics and cosmetics issues and leave the airbox/pair alone.

Right on, so it doesn't do what people are claiming? Like smoothing out throttle response and the 5000 rpm range issues?

Best way to adjust those if you are not pleased with it as is, would be to get a power commander and a custom map. Even a downloaded map would be preferred to hacking things up IMO. It'll be better all around performance and far better resale than back-yard-mechanic hacks.

    But that's just me.

Thanks Tink! So what about the baffle mod? I know it doesn't increase anything but the sound, which is what I want. I just want it louder until I can afford a better set up. I just don't want to do it if it will effect my bike negatively.
