If you are like most other VFR owners, I have some bad news. You will NEVER be finished tinkering with your bike. There will always be something you need or want to do to the bike for whatever reason.

FWIW My 2000 also has a CBR929 shock (upgrade from Jamie D. at Daugherty Motorsports) and the front forks are basically unchanged as far as their height in the triple clamps and the bike feels far better than it did with the stock suspension out back. If it feels as though the wheel wobbles from side to side as you say when riding then you might want to remove the wheel and take it to a company that does wheel repairs as maybe the rim is slightly bent. I am running 36/42 PSI front/rear for tire pressures, and I have noticed that if I have less than say 32 PSI in the front tire the bike seems to handle a bit more slugish. My bet might be that the balance is a bit off or maybe the rim is slightly bent.

There is a wheel repair shop in the same industrial complex as my mine and I have seen him having to repair more than a few rims from customers that have bought brand new cars with aftermarket wheel and noticed balance issues and discovered that the rims were actually out of round or slightly bent. The shop owner also has mentioned that sometimes a rather small bump or pothole can be enough to bend a wheel enough to cause a significant wobble or balance issue.

Did you take any measurements at all before you started on the shock and all this adjusting you're doing? In short, do you know where you started as far as front and rear ride height, free sag, etc etc ??

yeah I wrote everything down, the manual says only unbalanced wheel or bad bearings will cause wheel wobble, getting balance today so I'll see

If the front forks, bearings, wheel and tire check out, do remember a rider in my past who thought 100% his front end was causing him handling problems ended up being the rear just can't remember details.

Ok guys just got back from cycle gear, I had my buddy do it so we were just bsing and as soon as he spun the tire, all I heard was damn, so I went over looked @ it and my right brake rotor is warped all to hell so it wobbles like crazy when you spin the tires, so my buddy said there's your problem, so I went next door to power sports to see if they had one in stock cause the cbr rotors are the same, anyway while the guy was checking to see if they had some I went back to the shop talked to a mechanic to ask what would cause it and told him the symptoms and he said bring the tire in and I'll look @ it so went grabed the tire showed him warped rotors, but he told me no it would shake when you brake if that was the problem, so Idk I got 5 different people telling yes that's the problem or no that's not it but common sence tells me that's the problem cause it wobbles from left to right just like what it feels like. checked wheel bearings ,balance and tire wear and it's perfect, so IS THE ROTOR THE PROBBLEM? million dollar question and part lol

Damn dude your rotor is toast and you only have 14K on the bike?
The PO rode her hard and put her away wet.
I've never had a rotor warp on any of my bikes so I can't relate to the wobble feeling.

It's wobbling under acceleration, deceleration, coasting or all three? What type of tires? Is it a tank slapping wobble or just a little side to side vibration?

A very badly warped rotor could cause vibrations under all circumstances.
Yes I'd think it would be more pronounced under braking but it could cause a wobbly feeling all the time.

Get that new rotor and mount the wheel back on and try it out.

I'd throughly go through that 14k mile bike.
I like to KNOW everything is good to go before I ride.

Why don't you measure rotor runout and thickness?
