Hello im new to this forum,I need some help. I have a 96 vfr 750, my bike got stolen and wrecked into a truck. The insurance companies wont pay for it. I am restoring the bike and all that is left is the upper and lower fairings.I have found a site (airtech-streamlining) that makes them but they are a bit pricey.Does anyone know where I can find fairings other than piecing one together off ebay?

Well, I doubt that Honda is stocking 4th gen panels anymore, however, I may be wrong. If they did, it would be on backorder forever probably, and cost as much or more than the ones from airtech streaming. Give them a call. All it takes is a few minutes of your time for that answer. You're best bet is to do what you already assumed.....ebay, craigslist, VFRW, and VFRD. People wreck and/or part out their bikes all the time, so you just have to be vigilant about watching out for them on regular basis. Unfortunately, the price we pay for having older bikes is the rarity of parts over time.

4G panels are all readily available from Honda the last time I checked. They are stupid expensive, but come pre-painted and stickered.

Sounds like more trouble and expense than it's worth. That bitch has "partsbike" screwled all over it, doncha see ?? Frame might be damaged and not repairable if it hit anything hard.
