    1) Can anyone tell me if there is a 12v outlet riveted to the fender under the seat on the VFR or is this an accessory that has been added ?

    2) Does the black panel above the frame on the left side need to be removed to install a Z-Bomb ? If so, how does it come off ?

    Thanks in advance.

    1) the 12v outlet is an optional accessory from Honda 2) to install Z Bomb you have to loosen the plastic cover on the shifter linkage and just move it out of the way...the connector is tucked behind the frame spar just above the shifter linkage.....5-10 minute install

    Thanks Ishark.
Not to be dense, but just picked the thing up yesterday afternoon. You are speaking of the flat black triangular panel between the frame and the tank panel, yes?
Does it snap in with grommets? I can't see any other way to fasten it.
This Veefalo was originally purchased by someone in Syracuse , New York and some how made its way down to San Antonio to a BMW dealer. It's a standard transmission.
5500 miles and has OEM bags, a Ram ball mount on the left bar and the OEM tail rack with a 12v plug under the seat. I suspect someone did some touring on it ( or at least a little touring given the mileage).
    Runs and looks new.
Anyone on the forum know anything about a '10 fitting this description ? Cycle Check is clean.
Thanks for putting up with the questions. First VFR.

I use the word Veefalo with affection. It's a superb bike.
I got the black triangular piece off (the Youtube video only deals with the side and lower fairings) and am not a stranger to Tupperware but this bike is very cleverly put together and the damn thing is less than 24 hours old (to me), so breaking something would be such a buzz-kill.
I found the connectors that the Zbomb installs into but have a new question.
Did you pull the connector apart in place or is there some way to unclip the connector to drop it down below the frame spar ? Tried pulling forward on it but there is a white clip at the top of the thing. Which way to pull, if any ?
Again trying to avoid hearing the unwanted "snap" of breaking plastic.
    Sorry to be a pest.

    Anyone ?
Can anyone who has installed a Z Bomb tell me if you just unplug the connection up under the L frame spar in place or can you pull it down to plug in the Z Bomb then replace it back under the frame ?
Unfortunately the darn thing is attached and I don't want to just yank on it. Or at least I want to yank in the correct direction to bring it down.
I know this is a 5 minute install, just need some clarification.
    Thanks.

    Never mind.
Just had to stop treating it like a Fabrege egg.
    Job done.
    Now to test ride it.
    Awesome bike.
