I just changed my levers for brake and clutch to some ebay CNC aluminium ones. I'm not sure if this is new, but when function-testing the clutch engagement, there is a definite change between lever-in(disengaged) and lever-out(engaged). The sound goes from silent to a low-pitched drone.

While on the center stand, then clutch disengages and engages the rear wheel appropriately (have not ridden it yet, but no movement of wheel when disengaged and wheel spins when engaged). Still goes into gear and neutral without issue.

    Normal?

I checked it throughout the lever adjustment range, no difference.

it's normal--you are just hearing the noise of all the clutch plates and friction plates rattling around inside the clutch hub. There is oil in the clutch that helps damp out the noise, but there is still some. Next to a ducati the honda sounds like a quiet sewing machine...
