Newbie from the UK. VF500 F2 1st gen?

    Hi Ladies and Gents,
    my name is Martin and I'm from the UK, I'm not new to bikes in general, and have tinkered more then enough, but I'm new to the V4 model.
    I picked up the VF500 in a swap deal from a friend.
    initially I turned it down, and then saw some sense and went for it.
    its been sat for a good few years, but looks in ok general condition.
    I'm trying to hunt down some more pics of this models and paint scheme - Can anyone help me?
    I also have a spare set on panels and am on the look out for a better fuel tank.

    The only two pics I got, before I have started stripping it down.

    Do you have a tentative deadline for completion? VF500 part (older VF/VFR parts) can be a bit of a rarity....and when you do secure some, they want $$$ for them. Good luck and do keep us in the loop señor Martin.
