It's been over a month, and my SECOND email to Shoei has gone (once again) unanswered. That really pisses me off, and now they've earned themselves an upcoming phone call from me.
The helmet isn't going to sell it doesn't look like, so I guess I'll have to try again to use it.
Isn't there something a guy can treat the stock clear lens with to make it not fog so easy? Because I won't waste any more money on another insert, no way. I will get the Fog City insert before I do that.

Pin-lock's are great. You just need to get the sheilds that have the pins already installed. Way easier and no chance of messing up the installation.

Actually I have once again been wearing my Suomy. But yesterday I decided to get the Shoei out and try it again, one more time. Honestly, in my personal opinion, in more ways than just the shield, it's a 2nd rate helmet compared to my Suomy. The reason this Shoei was seemingly so nice, and quiet, and comfortable when I bought it was because I had been regularly wearing my old cheap HJC at that time. Sure, compared to that the Shoei is nice. But compared to my Suomy, the thing doesn't even rate, and I am really surprised (and disgusted with myself) that I didn't realize it before I wasted my money.
$150 for the Shoei, any takers?

Sucks you're having problems with your lid. I always end up with the one crap product out of the batch myself.
