So my pipes are fairly rusty as is the collector box. I was wondering what exhaust options are available. Anyone know if there are 4 into 4 pipes around?

Its a vf750f 86 model. Might just make the pipes straight through and a little shorter. We are lucky here that we don't have any kind of road test for bikes

Yeah i was thinking of going down The route of making my own. I really want to use stainless as the roads here destroy normal steel very fast

i was thinking of doing a 4 into 4 ... front two exiting behind footpegs and the rear two under seat
kinda like the old square 4 two stroke machines but i think im gonna run the rear two to come out the side along the side of the cylinderhead to the front, curve round the case to the bottom of the motor and back the front will swoop down and join the rear pipe

I like that idea. Im thinking two under the front pegs and two under the rear. Less weight than underseat and will be shorter so will be able to run richer at higher revs

I'm tinkering with my own exhaust. I used to run straight pipes with baffles but now I'm working on a new set up using late model race bike cans I shortened.

i ran mine with slash cut 3 inch pipes from the collector box, the sound was just amazing, but it was so loud, gone back to my stock swiss cheese pipes.

I see that "Wemoto" in England sells a set of "stock" looking pipes for about $450.00 U.S.. They look o.k., and would be a no hassle bolt on.

They are for different bikes, nothing is labelled its like a big jumble sale of parts out back at work! Its not cost effecient for me to sell abroad as the cost of living is so high here its reflected in the prices of stuff.
