94 round one completion

    Just finished up round 1 mods to my 94 and It rides great now.

    1. Yosh muffler
    2. Penske shock
    3. 06 GSXR forks
    4. custom fab upper triple
    5. Stem transplant on lower triple
    6. R1 R/R
    7. VFR800 rear rim
    8. Factory pro Ti jet kit
    9. S20 tires
    10. 520 chain and sprockets
    11. replaced rear axle bearings
    12. replaced steering head bearings
    13. Pro Taper bars (not sure I like them)
    14. 49 state cams and ignition box
    15. 08 CBR1000 battery

    The great thing is it lost 20 Lbs doind all these changes and removing anything it didn't need.

    Round 2 will be

    1. Paint (not sure what color yet)
    2. Scratch built headers
    3. Aluminum side stand
    4. lighten the rear peg mounts
    5. lighten rear subframe more

    My goal is 490 lbs wet

    Front forks mounted up, and I adapted the stock rotors and wheel. Had to mill off 7mm off the calipers mounting point to get them in the right spot on the smaller rotor. BTW they work great very happy with this bike.

    There she is naked. That's when I found out that it has a shift kit,so glad I didn't buy one.

    I am really happy with the way this bike rides now, it was so messed up before. Plus I know it better having it all naked and stuff. I did my first mileage check and it got 38.5 MPG I was shooting for better. I lowered the needles a half and it seams to run better. The kit I took out had 126 mains and I put in 128s but the needle profile is a lot different.

    On a seperate note, Is Thack your first name? I have a friend here in town that is also a Thack. Rare name.

    Great pics.

    Very poor mileage though. I averaqe 48-43mpg.

    I did get around 38mpg once....but I was ripping it hard trying to reproduce a misfire I was hoping I had solved.

    Nice work and upgrading. I average between 40-48 mpg, but I don't wring it out often. Keep up the great work!
