Hey gang, My front brakes are contaminated with oil/fluid. I am not sure where it came from but I suspect it is from the anti-dive mechanism. It was covered in oil when I bought it but after cleaning it and a couple hundred miles I don't see where anything is leaking. Is there a way for fork fluid to leak out thru the anti-dive? Can I change the o-ring without dissasembling the forks? I don't want to replace the pads until I repair the source of the leak. TIA,
    Jim

You sure it's not from leaky fork seals?? Anti-dive leakage is seriously unusual, and probably a result of its being taken apart and assembled improperly.

I don't think so Squirrelman. I know what a weeping fork seal looks like and I don't see any evidence of it. I cleaned the pads and the disc really good so I can see if it comes back. Hopefully it's not dry because the fork is empty.

Is it possible that the bottom fork bolt is leaking (someone didn't replace the washer) onto the rotor ??

Careful !! I'd suggest you check that the bottom bolt isn't loose before doing more riding.
