Do you want "best" or "cheapest"? You don't get both.

To be honest I don't know alot about this mod,I've put every mod on my bike I can think of and was trying to see what else I could do on performance side and someone mentioned these,I want the galfer lines,I went to a site called cycle brakes and they have a deal buy 2 front lines and you get the rear line kit for free price is $98 but I don't know if they fit my 01 Cycle Brakes - Shopping Cart Home scroll to the bottom of page

If you read that again, the disclaimer clearly states that it will not apply to your '01 as it has linked brakes. More than likely you'll either need to delink your brakes and make custom lines, or find the "kit" that has all the pieces for the 5 Gen.

"Galfer REAR BRAKE LINE KIT FREE with purchase of FRONT DUAL BRAKE LINE KIT Stainless Steel Braided Lines with choice of Color Coat (Not available for single line kits, GP-series, Harley, ABS, Linked or Custom colored ends or lengths)"

I was forced to replace my rear set and went stainless from a local Tubes N Hoses. I noticed no ill effects from the mixed setup but I'm not running track days either. My fronts are being made up now.

The problem with doing it at different times is that the color won't match. Blue from one roll won't match blue from another. So I bought all the line needed last year when I did the rear. Then have him the line back now to fish building the rest.

Is having stainless braided lines on the rear brake really necessary?
