Craigslist, here is a copy of the ad, It's Portland Indiana,

    Rare Motorcycle for sale\trade - $2500 (Portland)
I have a 1986 Honda VF 1000 R super rare bike currently does not run I last rode it 2 years ago tried to start it this week but getting no fuel. Im positive the carbs need cleaned as it had not been ridden in 15 yrs before I got it. I changed the plugs and flushed the clutch and break fluid so as I said it will need the carbs cleaned and a coolant flush and you will have a good running bike. Cosmetically the bike is in amazing shape for its age and has only 6000 original miles. This bike will sell for 6,000 plus all day in running condition but I just don't have the time to put into it. Will trade for a good running 4x4 truck with snow plow any year or make of equal value

For pictures or more info text ONLY

Yea I'm thinking I can just clean out the rust as it's not too bad. I've read some good things about Metal-Rescue, I think I'll give that a try.

Again thanks all for the comments,
    Kelvin

Nice, think I saw that ad...always have to chuckle when I read "rare, limited, it's worth X, etc" very very few people actually were born or even know what they have these days (wikipedia descriptions aside).

I think you'll be very pleased with Metal Rescue, I'm sold for sure. Can't wait to hear your riding impressions.
