Just got my PCV in today, started looking through the included maps, and I'm not sure where to start. Eventually I plan on a dyno but in the meantime where should I start, stock map?

Current mods are 2bro VALE, Pipercross filter, o2 eliminators.

The non stock maps available to me are:

Load one see how it does, try another and compare? Shut the hell up & buy the autotune?

Please be gentle, electronic tuning is a whole new world to me...

    Thanks,
    Dan

I think when I first installed mine I used the Staintune map. I have a 2Bros and K&N on mine so I went with that one, if you plan on getting it Dyno tuned, this should hold you until then. There's nothing wrong with loading both maps and using a contact closure to switch between them. That's the setup I have now, the stock map and then a custom one and I have a toggle switch that I can flip between them any time I want. The goal here was to be able to have a high performance map and a high mileage map to flip between. However until then I was going to use it to compare the custom and the stock maps but really I just leave the custom one on now.

    Thanks 00TVS.

That's just about what I had in mind for runnig two maps, which is why I've been thinking dyno tune. I guess I'll see if there's a huge difference between an 'econo' tune and a 'power' tune. The idea of switching maps on the fly is great, & the worst that can happen is I end up running just one,

Shut the hell up and auto tune!

    PS Nice filter bro!
Did you pull the snorkel and flapper yet? Also you are going to need to plug up the pair valves before you dyno tune or auto tune.

I pulled the snorkel when I replaced the filter. The rat-nest-inspired first mod :)

Going to try and install the PCV today, with o2 eliminators, then look at the PAIR removal. Hadn't decided on the flapper yet, but will probably end up pulling that too.

PCV installed. Took me about an hour since I've not taken the plastics off before and I was being very careful. Might I say those little clips are a straight pain in the ass!

Went on a short test ride, and have to say, I LOVE it. Smells rich at the moment, but man does it smooth out the throttle. Overall sounds great now too. Looks like the PAIR & flappers are the next to go.

    Thanks again 00TVS
