My 83 just had a tail light sensor go flaky. I jumped around the problem for now. I bought a 84 sensor a while back thinking I'd have a spare. Well the wiring to/on the sensor changed in 84 and up. All I need to do it to make a mini jumper harness with a 9 pin connector on both ends. The wiring diagrams show what color wire but not to what pin number. I need to know what color wires go to what pins on the sensor box. If someones has their bike apart could you look at the plug at the sensor and see what colors to what pins for me? There are seven pins and the plug lock loop I'll call top. Three pins on left top to bottom and on the right, the bottom row center is the seventh pin. TIA
OK, Man. Looking from the back of the wiring harness connector (where the wires go into the back of the plug) Top Left = Green/yellow Top right = Yellow/white Mid Left = Green/yellow Mid right = Green Bottom Left = Brown Center pin = Brown Bottom right = Brown and Black Hope that helps! -Sean
